Part 2, I have been doing a lot of work on a new video while also having to work at my job. I work in the agriculture, collecting data and things have been crazy with the pandemic. Making these short video have been a great way to keep making videos in my free time. I am still working on a large video which has been pushed back from all the work I have had to do. I have some free time now with all the crops planted and hope to get it out soon.
During most of the quarantine I have been posting these short videos on the app "byte" which is the successor to Vine. It is made by some of its original founders. It is still in Beta, but I'm enjoying it. Today marks three months since byte has been available to the public....
During most of the quarantine I have been posting these short videos on the app "byte" which is the successor to Vine. It is made by some of its original founders. It is still in Beta, but I'm enjoying it. Today marks three months since byte has been available to the public. I chose to share these compilation after my supporters on Patreon recommended I make this public.
I wanted to see if I had it in me to rebuild an audience from scratch, so aside from a fews tweets on my Twitter over the plan, I built up everything organically on the app itself. In three months I gained over 5,400 followers and over 1,100,000 loops on all my facts. I have 125 fact videos of them as of this post. I plan on making a video over my whole experience soon! It's going to be great!
I have made all the music for these videos myself, it been fun because I always wanted to make music for my videos. And I am doing it and finally learning how to work the program Pro Logic.
These are normally meant to be looped, but it was not fun to watch having any one fact play more than once. Many of these are facts that did not make it into my IFTANK videos, and some are ones that did!

This is the final video of what became a 2 part call out.
Brandon Walker is a Motion Graphics Artist who would go on to create /own a news website (Guffdump) that was achieving some rapid success.
After a massive breakthrough story coving a video that the evidence strongly indicates he made, he would start to cover more stories with children seemingly to attract people to his website, all while establishing a false sense of consideration for them in the process.
While he covered stories where it looked like he cares about the situations kids were in, in others he would completely compromise that either though what looks like either apathy or just ignorance. With enough digging, it turned out he himself was a person targeting children. All while trying to make money off his stories directly or indirectly.
He has taken zero responsibility for one story, the one that started this all and was the main focus of the last video. This has given me little confidence he won't just do this again at some point if he is not already.
If he is reading this, Brandon... Use this call out as a wake up call. Sometimes it takes someone's own reflection on us to see the faults in our own actions... To start thinking more critically. Push for positive change in your life. Be someone who is more considerate and empathetic, you will find that life is much more rewarding when you can feel better enjoying strangers doing well, than doing poorly.

This video is a long-overdue 100K subscribers special. It's a story not about any issue with YouTube itself, rather a story about setting the right example for being a representative in the EDU community. It had to be pushed back for reason covered in the video.

I decided against putting all that much music in the video after the beginning, it just constantly sounded like I wanted to make everything overly emotional. Some parts of the story are not happy, but I didn't want to just have music in the background just to keep people from getting bored and I didn't want to force anything. It is what it is.
Beyond that, the idea of making YouTube a financial endeavor is very foreign to me. I have never used a lot of services like patreon and stuff, I have an account I never used. But that might be something to look into.
