You need generator devices in Beast of Reincarnation to upgrade Emma's weapons and cleanse walker. While you also must have amber to unlock higher-tier upgrades for your swords and facility modules to improve a couple of Bauera's features, you will still need to look for the blue skull-shaped collectibles scattered throughout the game's zones.
